Kiyo Jason - Exec Head Coach & Head of Girls Player Pathway

In 2023, Kiyo qualified for the elite ECB Level 4 coaching award and is also holds a sports science degree. He is a highly regarded coach – one of the very few who were invited to take the level 4 course without 1st class / international playing experience. Kiyo has a long experience with Spencer, as a junior and playing in adult teams, coaching the Academy (he now heads up the Girls Player Pathway) before returning to coach the Women’s section, the 1st XI of which he helped get promoted back to the Premiership. In recent years he has been a teacher at St Pauls school and also works with the high-profile ACE programme. He commenced full-time with Spencer in January 2022. Saqib Malik - Head of Junior & Boys Player Pathway Cricket

Another coach who has come through the ranks at Spencer, coaching right through the junior section. Primarily focused on our younger age groups, Saq has completed his ECB Level 3 award. Saq’s Spencer journey started when he joined the club as an U7 playing age group cricket, coming through the Academy/ Pathway set up and then going onto represent the 1st XI. Saq also heads up the Boys Player Pathway.

Our Club managing director is also an accomplished qualified ECB Club Coach, who ran our Academy between 2016 and 2019.
