Spencer disability coach Alain Jason receives Lords Taverners award from Michael Holding

The Spencer Disability section was created in 2015

We currently support and/or host a number of sessions per week in conjunction with other funders (e.g. Lords Taverners):

Learning & Physical Disability: Garrett Park School & Hilary House (Sacred Heart)

Deaf: Oak Lodge School (where timetable permits we run an additional hard ball pathway for Oak Lodge pupils)

Club: We also run a popular weekly Spencer Inclusivity Junior Club where disabled children play with their siblings and families

Surrey Disability Performance Hub

We have been working with Surrey on developing Spencer as a Disability Performance Hub. We host two Surrey performance teams competing in D40 and Super 9’s tournament. We utilise access to the Openview pitch with its off street parking, modern changing, NTP surface). Over the summer we also provide facilities for training.

The usage of Openview by Surrey Performance teams is enabled by Spencer paying the ground and facility costs.

For all the above, Spencer provides a rare inner London location for disability cricket.
