Spencer 150 Club Terms of the Draw
The name of the draw shall be the Spencer 150 Club (“the 150 Club”)
The primary objective of the 150 Club is to raise funds for the purposes of Spencer Cricket Club (“the Club”) as defined in the constitution of the Club.
The 150 Club shall be a lottery draw in which subscribers shall purchase a number or numbers to be entered into the prize draws. There shall be 12 draws each year.
The 150 Club is open to public membership for all people of 18 years and above. It shall be the sole responsibility of each subscribing member to notify the 150 Club manager of changes in address in writing.
The purchase price for each number shall be £5.00 per draw payable by standing order or such other means as is approved from time to time by the General Committee of the Club. The purchase price of numbers may be reviewed annually at the Annual General Meeting of the Club but shall not exceed the statutory maximum ticket price for lotteries for the time being.
The results of each draw shall be published on the Club’s website and winners notified in writing.
The income from the 150 Club not distributed in prizes shall be transferred to the general fund of the Club or as the Treasurer of the Club shall direct.
All disputes concerning the 150 Club will be determined by the General Committee of the Club, the decision of which shall be conclusive. The General Committee shall appoint a 150 Club manager who shall be primarily responsible for the conduct and business of the 150 Club.
The prize fund for each draw shall amount to no less than 40% of the value of numbers entered for the relevant draw. The prize fund shall be distributed dependent on entries per month, detailed below.
The General Committee of the Club shall have power to alter the allocation of the prize fund at its discretion.
